There is a psychology behind their use. Manufacturers know when users feel tingling, they believe their lip balm is working. In reality, these ingredients have the reverse effect of drying out lips.

We use meadowfoam and chia seed oils because they hydrate and naturally plump with vitamins C, E and Omegas.
